Your Membership - What you should know.
Welcome to CRIS, serving seven REALTOR® Associations (Akron, Stark,
Youngstown Columbiana, Warren, Portage, Tuscarawas, and Coshocton) in nine counties
(Summit, Stark, Trumbull, Mahoning, Columbiana, Portage, Carroll,
Tuscarawas, and Coshocton) with MLS services. In order to serve you
quickly and efficiently we put together a list of important points that
you should be aware
of:
For questions regarding membership, please contact CRIS Membership
Coordinator & IDX Administrator Heather Shupe at 330.376.0015 ext 1 or
heather.shupe@crismls.org.
After you join and fulfill your local Board or Association of REALTORS® membership
requirements, you will be eligible for MLS service.
The local CRIS Board or Association
that you join, or are assigned to, collects your application and
membership information. In order to process your application for CRIS,
an application fee of $150 is required. Once you are processed,
approximately 24 hours from the time it is received by the CRIS
Membership office, you will have access to the Rapattoni MLS system. The URL or
web address for our Rapattoni MLS system is
http://crismls.rapmls.com . When you first log in, your
ID and password will be your state assigned license number or "file number."
You will be instructed to change your password in
order to keep it confidential. As a new agent, you must also attend a
CRIS New Member Orientation program within 90 days after joining CRIS.
If you do not attend this orientation, you/your Broker are subject to a
$100 fine. Contact your local Board for availability of these classes.
CRIS
dues are not refunded for any reason. Military Reserve Unit Members
called to active duty should contact CRIS prior to their departure, if
possible, (exceptions to be determined by the CRIS Board of Directors)
to arrange to have any prepaid dues accrual applicable for the current
remaining CRIS billing period suspended until their return from active
duty. The suspended dues amount will then be applied as a credit to
their dues for the period of their return. Persons returning from active
military duty with a suspended dues balance will not be required to pay
the standard application fee to rejoin CRIS.
CRIS Membership Forms & New Member Information
Membership Changes and Transfers
For any membership changes, adding or changing a voicemail, new
alternate phone number, or change of address, please contact your local
CRIS Board or Association to give them the necessary information. They will then
forward it to the CRIS Membership Office to update CRIS/Rapattoni MLS. It is
important that member information flow first to the local board and then
to CRIS.
When transferring from one company to another, you must provide your
local Board or Association with your new company information. This is to insure that
both your Board or Association and CRIS/Rapattoni MLS are updated with your new company
information.
Anytime agents reinstate or transfer to another realty company, their
CRIS password will remain the same.
